Our University was listed in both national and global rankings across seven academic fields in the 2025–2026 Field Rankings announced by University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP), with particularly strong results in Civil Engineering and Earth Sciences.

In the URAP rankings, which evaluate the academic performance of universities across different fields, our University ranked 4th in Türkiye in both Civil Engineering and Earth Sciences. Globally, KTU ranked 429th in Civil Engineering and 739th in Earth Sciences.

Our University also ranked 10th in Türkiye and 924th worldwide in Engineering, and 11th in Türkiye and 952nd worldwide in Mechanical Engineering. In other fields, KTU ranked 17th in Türkiye and 1,297th worldwide in Technology; 20th in Türkiye and 1,438th worldwide in Biological Sciences; and 31st in Türkiye and 1,255th worldwide in Medical and Health Sciences.

Commenting on the results, KTU Rector Prof. Dr. Hamdullah ÇUVALCI stated that the rankings are an important indicator of the University’s research capacity. He said, “Ranking 4th in Türkiye in both Civil Engineering and Earth Sciences reflects our long-standing academic expertise and high-quality scientific output. Our goal is to further strengthen our position in the fields where we already perform strongly while achieving higher rankings across a broader range of academic fields.
