The Times Higher Education (THE), one of the leading university ranking organizations, has announced the results for the 2025 rankings. Compared to the last a few years, Karadeniz Technical University has managed to make progress in all key evaluation areas such as Research Quality, International Outlook, and Learning Environment. In the rankings, which list a total of 2,857 universities and institutions, our university is ranked in the 1501+ band. In subject-specific statistics, the university secured promising positions:

• Social Sciences: 801+
• Health Sciences: 801-1000
• Computer Technologies: 801-1000
• Engineering: 1001+
• Natural Sciences: 1001+
• Physical Sciences: 1001+
