a) Candidates must pay their tuition fees for the 2025-2026 academic year fall semester in order to complete their provisional registration. (Except for students graduating from high schools in this title and those who will study Turkish Language Preparatory School)

b) 2025-2026 education fees are determined by the Board of Directors of our University, taking into account the Presidential Decree published in the Official Gazette in July every year and published at https://www.ktu.edu.tr/oidben/internationalstudents. (In case temporary registrations are made before the publication of the Presidential Decree, candidates pay the education fee for the previous year. However, after the 2025-2026 education fees are announced, the difference will be collected from the students.) Click for tuition fees.

NOTE: You can only make payments for your tuition fees via Vakıfbank ATMs, Vakıfbank online banking, or by clicking the link https://harc.ktu.edu.tr/.

c) If more than one student from the same family continues their education at state higher education institutions, a 25% discount is made on tuition fees, provided that the student and his/her family have received a residence permit in Turkey. (Click for application form and required documents)

d) English Preparatory Class Level Determination and Proficiency (Exemption) Exams will be held on 15-17 September 2025. Click for detailed information.

e) Undergraduate/Associate degree 1st Year Common Compulsory English Course Exemption Exam (for students of departments without a preparatory class) will be held on October 01, 2025. Click for detailed information.

f) The Turkish Proficiency Exam date will be added to the announcement when it is announced.

g) Candidates are not required to upload their Equivalence and Turkish Proficiency Documents during the provisional registration process. They can submit their Equivalence Documents to the International Student Office by October 21, 2025 at the latest.

 

Documents to be uploaded for Online (Temporary Registration):

1. If available, an equivalence certificate indicating completion of a secondary education equivalent to Turkish high schools (T.C. citizens who graduated from schools abroad that are not affiliated with the Ministry of National Education and from international schools in Turkey will upload it.)

2. Document showing at least B2 level Turkish level, if any (it will not be required for students who graduated from high schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Turkey and students whose program languages are 100% English and Russian).

3. Financial Status Declaration Form (to be uploaded as a single PDF) issued with an internationally valid Financial Status Certificate (bank account statement, etc.) stating that the student has the financial means to continue her higher education.

D. FINAL REGISTRATION (04 JULY - 21 OCTOBER 2025)

a) Students who have completed their provisional registration must bring the originals (originals) and certified Turkish translations of the following documents to the International Student Office of the Student Affairs Department by October 21, 2025 at the latest and complete their final registration.

Warning: Candidates who are placed in a program where the language of instruction is 100% Turkish and who do not have a "Turkish Proficiency Certificate" (TÖMER) will be able to make their final registrations after taking the TÖMER exemption exam.

b) Students who newly register or renew their registration are required to have Social Security Institution General Health Insurance. Students will pay the General Health Insurance fee to the Social Security Institution with the application number they will receive from the International Student Office during final registration.

 

Documents to be brought for final registration:

1. Passport or Identity Document

2. Exam Result Certificate

3. Secondary Education (High School) Graduation Certificate.

4. Document Showing Secondary Education General Grade Point Average (Transcript)

5. Blue Card (Candidates who have renounced Turkish citizenship and received a blue card will upload it)

6. Population Registration Sample (Candidates who have renounced Turkish citizenship and have not received a blue card will upload it.)

7 Citizens of the Republic of Türkiye who completed their secondary education in an institution providing formal education abroad and candidates with dual nationality whose first nationality is the Republic of Türkiye must submit a document showing that they have been in the country where the diploma was received during their high school education or that they entered and exited this country (certified passport or police records).

8.If available, an equivalence certificate proving that a secondary education equivalent to a Turkish high school has been completed (Those who are Turkish citizens and completed their secondary education abroad must bring it).

9. A document showing at least B2 level Turkish proficiency, if any (it will not be required for students who graduated from high schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Turkey and students whose program languages are 100% English and Russian)

10. Residence Certificate (Document issued by official authorities to candidates who are TRNC citizens and apply with GCE AL exam results, stating that they reside in TRNC.)

11. Piş Danişgahi Certificate (It is mandatory for those who graduated from general high schools and vocational high schools (Debiristan, Hüneristan, Kar and Daniş) by the end of the 2017-2018 academic year in Iran.
