BIOBLACK Project's State of the Art of the Black Sea Biodiversity report has been released and is available for download here.
The comprehensive report assessing the current situation, threats, and gaps regarding marine life across the Black Sea basin has been successfully completed and published as a key output of Period 3 within the framework of the BIOBLACK Project.
Co-funded by the European Union under the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme, the BIOBLACK Project (Raising Awareness for the Black Sea People to Recognize and Protect Black Sea Biodiversity) continues to reach its key milestones. As part of the project's ongoing efforts to safeguard the fragile ecosystem of our shared sea, Activity 1.1: State of the Art of the Black Sea Biodiversity Report has been officially completed during Period 3.
Led by Karadeniz Technical University (KTÜ), with the collaborative efforts of international partners including the Institute of Fish Resources (IFR) from Bulgaria and the ecological non-governmental organization Mare Nostrum from Romania the newly released report provides an in-depth analysis of the region's marine ecosystems.
