Office of International Relations at Karadeniz Technical University held an online meeting with Mokpo National University in South Korea to initiate a bilateral cooperation process between both universities. The meeting addressed collaboration opportunities within the framework of MOU and Erasmus+ KA171 programme, as well as the establishment of a double degree programme between both universities for the Department of Naval Architecture & Marine Engineering and the Department of Fisheries Technology Engineering.

The issues discussed were conveyed to the relevant authorities and decision-makers, and a roadmap was developed to advance the collaboration process. Furthermore, opportunities for strengthening academic collaboration between the two universities, increasing the number of student or academic staff mobility and developing joint projects were also discussed during the online meeting.
